Position Overview:

Loan Titan is hiring seasoned mortgage professionals to join our dynamic team. The Mortgage Loan Originator is responsible for guiding clients through the mortgage application process, providing expert advice on loan options, and assisting clients in obtaining residential or commercial property financing. This role focuses on building strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and internal teams to ensure a smooth loan process from application to closing. Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to understand their financial goals and lending needs, offering suitable mortgage solutions.
• Analyze clients' financial information (income, assets, debts, credit history) to determine loan eligibility.
• Provide recommendations on loan products, explaining risks, benefits, and terms clearly to customers.
• Originate and process residential mortgage loans in compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral partners to generate new loan opportunities.
• Guide clients through the loan application process, ensuring timely collection of necessary documents.
• Collaborate with processors and underwriters to ensure timely loan approvals and closings.
• Stay informed about changes in mortgage industry rules, regulations, and products to provide up-to-date information to clients.
• Promote the company's mortgage products and services through networking and external visits.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including RESPA, Fair Lending, and privacy laws.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A dual license with both NMLS and DRE is required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in mortgage lending or financial services.
• Proven experience in mortgage sales, including FHA, VA, jumbo and conventional loans.
• Strong understanding of the mortgage process, including underwriting and loan processing.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to clients.
• Knowledge of consumer lending laws and regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage client relationships.
• Proficiency with mortgage origination software and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
• Experience working with self-employed or non-traditional borrowers.
• Established network of real estate agents, builders, and referral partners.
• Strong sales and customer service background.
• Ability to manage a large volume of loans while maintaining attention to detail.

This role is commission-based, with earnings tied directly to each deal closed. The compensation range listed is an estimate informed by current market data and the anticipated responsibilities of this position.
