Our client, a leading fintech company, is hiring a freelance
UX Writer / Content Designer for their international-based crypto app.
We're looking for candidates with previous crypto experience. - Start date: within 2 - 3 weeks
- Duration: on-going freelance
- Location: Remote
- Schedule: 40 hours per week (any US time zone is ok!)
This is a fast-moving team. Expect the projects you work on to include rapid iteration, brief timelines, and urgency.This role requires strong foundational knowledge of the crypto space and the drive to keep building expertise. Here's what to expect:
- Partner with design, product, and research to build delightful user experiences
- Engage throughout the product development process to improve the overall experience and ensure consistency
- Create and advocate for approachable, simple language that best communicates our mission externally
- Balance customer experience and business impact with speed and quality
- Incorporate user research into content decisions for product experiences
- Present your work to cross-functional teams in product reviews and provide feedback during weekly crits
Requirements: - 4+ years UX writing or content design experience
- Portfolio or work samples highlighting UX writing and content design for products.
- Eagerness to shape product direction from ideation to post-launch, including contributing to design and research
- Experience conducting content and comparative audits
- Ability to translate technical concepts into concise, easy-to-understand language
- Ability to adapt quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment with shifting constraints
- Familiarity working with compliance and legal teams during the content development and approval process
Preferred: - Solid subject expertise and deep interest in cryptocurrencies, blockchain, dapps, web3, and market makers. Plus, the ability to master new crypto subjects quickly.
- Previous Fintech experience
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $65.00 to $85.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
