Job Description
This Nurse Practitioner (NP) will join the Hope Rising Detox and Rehab family, located in St George, Utah. Our program provides compassionate care for patient's substance use, mental health, and primary care needs. Our providers work with clients who are addicted to alcohol, drugs or other harmful substances. The ideal provider for this position will have specialized knowledge about the physical symptoms related to substance abuse, as well as evaluate, diagnose, and treat mental health issues that are associated with the rehabilitation process. Willing to train the right candidate.
This position will be part of a care team that includes providers, counselors, case managers, and other team members vital to the success of our clients.
We discuss all available treatment options such as medications, healthy thinking and lifestyle changes, psychotherapy, and alternative remedies.
The NP will have an emphasis on medication management, along with opportunity to also provide psychotherapy to clients as needed.

Job Essentials
* Perform physical exams, order tests, and diagnose and treat substance use disorders and mental health conditions
* Assess level of withdrawal, and prescribe necessary medications to facilitate the detox process
* Assess appropriateness of initiation and/or ongoing medication assisted treatment (MAT), discuss with care team, and prescribe necessary medications to facilitate MAT
* Assess the need of medications needed to treat mental health disorders
* Educate patients family members about loved one's treatment
* Consultation with other healthcare providers
* Appropriate and timely documentation of clinical care
* Continually learning and developing for optimal patient care and outcomes
* Have a passion for caring for those in recovery
Minimum Qualifications
Current state license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)

Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
- and -
Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

Eligible for State Controlled Substance License II through V.

Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V.

BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
