Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate directly with neurodivergent teens, adults, and families via Zoom to enhance executive functioning skills across daily living, vocational, academic, and community domains.
  • Develop personalized strategies alongside clients, families, and support professionals to nurture autonomy and independence.
  • Maintain flexibility to adapt coaching methods to individual client needs, aiming for consistent, productive sessions.
  • Conduct approximately 25 hours of coaching per week, working towards potential full-time status.
  • Participate in continuous learning, embracing training opportunities and contributing to ongoing improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 21+ years of age and a resident of Washington state.
  • Must be able to pass all employment screenings.
  • Ability to work after school hours. Weekend availability is a bonus.
  • Laptop or computer, webcam, and microphone required.
  • Minimum of 25 hours per week of consistent availability for direct client support time (with more hours preferred).

Qualifications:

  • Passion for empowering neurodivergent individuals to achieve autonomy and independence.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, empathy, and adaptability in the face of challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster client engagement.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage technology platforms.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including calendar management and timekeeping.
  • Understanding of neurodivergence or prior experience in related fields (social work, teaching, therapy).
  • Experience working with or advocating for individuals from diverse backgrounds, including race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ability.

Training and Support:

  • Initial training, including process overview, session structure, and technology platform usage.
  • One-on-one sessions with the Head of Operations for personalized guidance.
  • Access to previously recorded sessions for review and non-live shadowing.
  • Ongoing support and training throughout employment to ensure excellence in coaching practice.
  • DEI training and participation in community partnerships designed to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace.
