Job Title: Corporate Trainer 

Employment Type: Full Time, 40 hours/week 

Reports to: VP of Operations 

FLSA Status: Non Exempt

Opportunity 

LIFE SURGE is seeking a creative, confident and experienced Corporate Trainer to develop, enhance and deliver world class employee training and education. The company is only 4 years old and is in a massive growth phase. LIFE SURGE has expanded from 35-100 employees in 2023. The next step for success requires a culture-minded Trainer to come alongside the management team to develop, create, enhance and effectively deliver content to our employees. 

Responsibilities  

Analyze the effectiveness of current training for the employees and develop appropriate modification if needed 

Collaborate with the company’s management to identify training needs and schedule appropriate training sessions for employees 

Identifying future training needs and creating a curriculum to facilitate that training 

Create training schedules for all company departments, track and create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records for the company. 

Leading programs to assist employees with transitions due to technological changes, acquisitions and mergers 

Develop systems to monitor and ensure employees are performing their responsibilities according to the training 

Ensure the compliance of the company’s employees to cooperate with standards and procedures during training sessions 

Design programs and curriculum for effective employee training companywide 

Confidently train, explain and deliver content  

Continually looking for new ways to improve employee understanding and engagement 

Develop and cultivate a never-ending appetite for learning to broaden your knowledge 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred 

  • MUST have a passion to help others and see them succeed 

  • Strong organization and time-management skills to prioritize, delegate tasks and set goals for productivity. Ability to plan, manage time and multitask effectively 

  • Excellent time management skills, public speaking skills, problem-solving skills and both verbal and written communication skills to effectively inspire and engage learners 

  • Proficiency in presentation software 

  • Creative and problem-solving skills to invent new ways to accommodate the learning needs  

  • Research skills to perform advanced and analytical research to find reliable and relevant content for the learner 

  • High empathy skills and understanding of effective teaching methodologies and the willingness to keep abreast of new techniques in teaching 

  • Have a comprehensive understanding and the use of modern technology to develop training modules needed in online platforms 

Qualifications 

  • 5+ years creating and training content 

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent 

  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred  

  • Proficiency in the following software platforms or similar: LMS - Trainual, CRM – HubSpot or Salesforce, Project management tools - Asana, Trello or Monday,  Microsoft 365 - Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, PP, etc.
