Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 per year

Job Details Responsibilities
1. Evaluate manufacturing costs and propose cost-saving measures.
2. Direct the budgeting and standard-setting processes for all plants.
3. Manage inventory accuracy and track financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
4. Oversee inventory levels and turnover, applying KPIs to improve operational efficiency and cost accounting principles to assess production profitability.
5. Utilize technology to improve financial reporting and system management,
6. Supervise the creation and review of financial statements for all manufacturing sites, ensuring accuracy and prompt reporting.
7. Manage and guide a team of regional plant accountants
8. Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and external regulations.
9. Assess and refine financial systems and processes, implementing best practices across all plants.
10. Create and update financial models for forecasting and long-term planning, providing insights into variances and areas for improvement.
11. Additional duties defined in real-time
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration. A Master’s degree or Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation is preferred.
2. 10+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation. Experience in the manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
3. Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Cost Accounting, and Financial Reporting.
4. Strong understanding of Inventory Valuation and Operational Accounting.
5. Ability to work closely with a senior management team.
6. Proficient in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent GAAP, SEC rules and regulations including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
7. Experience with creating financial statements and cash flow analysis.
8. Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
10. Impeccable analytical and organizational skills.
