Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate attorney with 1+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a diverse background encompassing Criminal Defense, Family Law, Immigration, Public Interest, or Legal Aid. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is dedicated to social justice and seeks meaningful work without the pressure of billable hours.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of 120-170 cases related to Delinquency and Dependency.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and represent clients in court proceedings.
• Collaborate with social workers, counselors, and other stakeholders to provide holistic support to clients.
• Advocate for the best interests of juveniles, ensuring their voices are heard and rights are protected.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar.
• Strong desire to utilize their litigation experience in the courtroom.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
